2023: Saw action in 15 games with five starts during her junior campaign … Scored three goals and added an assist for seven points … Scored goals against Penn (9/1), William & Mary (10/8) and Brown (10/22) … Had a lone assist against Quinnipiac (9/29).
 
2022: Played in 18 games with 13 starts during her sophomore season … Scored three goals and tallied five assists for 11 points ... Had two goals and an assist against Queens (9/4) … Tallied a goal and an assist against Sacred Heart (9/2) … Added lone assists against Lock Haven (9/9), Saint Francis (Pa.) (9/11) and Quinnipiac (10/14).
 
2021: Appeared in 17 games making six starts as a freshman ... Scored five goals on the year … Had two goals, including the game-winner, against Quinnipiac (10/15) … Named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll (10/16) … Added two goals against La Salle (10/3) and another against Brown (9/26).
 
Prior to Georgetown: Four-year starter in high school, including two years at the Agnes Irwin School and two years at Blair Academy… Played for and started on Agnes Irwin's varsity team as an 8th grader and competed in the state tournament all five years she played… Named MVP during her freshman and sophomore years at Agnes Irwin… Named a MAX Field Hockey Top 50 Player in the class of 2021… Earned second team all-state and second team all-league honors during her freshman year… Earned first team all-state and all-league during her sophomore and junior years, and was named to the pre-season first team all-state and all-league before her senior season was cancelled… Led the league in assists during her sophomore year and led the league in goals during her junior year, scoring more than 200 goals and totaling more than 500 points throughout her high school career… For her club team, the WC Eagles, started all four years in high school and was part of the teams that won the National Indoor Tournaments every year between 2014-2019… Won the National Indoor Tournament in the U14 and U16 divisions in 2016, and won the National Club Championship in 2017…  Sister of Jax van der Veen and cousin of Louise Chakejian, both former Georgetown University field hockey players.
