Georgetown University Head Field Hockey Coach Christy Longacre announced the addition of Lauren Fredricks to the coaching staff to serve as GU's graduate assistant.  Fredricks comes to the Hilltop after a successful career with the American University Eagles.
 

Fredricks played four seasons at American University where she racked up seven assists and captured a Patriot League Championship in 2019. Fredricks was named to the Patriot League All-Tournament Team in 2019 after tallying three assists in the tournament. The Eagles made an NCAA tournament appearance in 2019 with Fredricks on the team.
 

Originally from West Chester, Pennsylvania, Fredricks was named Honorable Mention All-State as a senior at West Chester East. She earned Chester County All-Area First Team Defense honors as a junior.
