Prior to Georgetown:

Berry attended Mansfield Summit High School in Arlington, Texas.
The defensive back was a starter during his sophomore, junior and senior seasons and was named captain as a senior.
While at Mansfield Summit, Berry was a three-time Academic All-District honoree and was named first-team All-District in 2023.
Berry helped his team make two State Final appearances and also broke a team record for most turnovers.
In addition to football, Berry was a three-year captain on the track and field team.
