Biography

Nnamdi Obiako is in his first year on the Georgetown University coaching staff. Obiako will serve as a volunteer defensive assistant coach. A former four-year letterwinner at Georgetown, Obiako will serve as an assistant coach this season while finishing up his degree in sociology. Obiako was a captain for the Hoyas during the 2007 season and started at defensive tackle the last two seasons. He finished seventh on the team with 44 tackles as a senior. Obiako finished his career with 118 career tackles, including 11 for loss and two sacks. A native of Bladensburg, Md., Obiako was his team[apos]s most valuable player as a senior in high school and was a Merit Scholar Athlete.
