2017-18: Posted an overall 14-2 singles record in his freshman season … Won his opening seven matches … Won an additional six-straight matches, including conference wins against Butler, Villanova and DePaul, to finish his singles season … Compiled a record of 11-12 in doubles play … Picked up five wins with teammate Ian Witmer against Yale, Middle Tennessee State, Penn, Christopher Newport and Navy … Finished with a doubles record of 4-2 with brother, Will Sharton, including a 9-7 victory over NCAA Division II No. 2 Barry … ITA All-Academic team … BIG EAST All-Academic selection.

Prior to Georgetown: Varsity starter as a freshman, sophomore, and senior at Wayland High School, captained as a senior ... Part of a high school team that was a three-time state champion (2014, 2015, 2017) and a club team that went to the USTA National Junior Circuit from 2009-17 ... Was a finalist in the 16 and under Winter National doubles, and a two-time DCL All-Star... Named to the Boston Globe All-Scholastic team in 2014 and 2017... Undefeated in dual match play throughout his high school career ... Top 15 in the country in boys 16's doubles, and top three in New England in boys 16's singles ...
