Biography
High School: Joyce, a three-year letterwinner qualified for the Colorado State meet all four years of high school, placing in the top eight for all four of her events during her senior season in addition to breaking a school record in the 200m free relay. She was captain of her club team in Boulder, Colo. and traveled with them to grand prix meets and spring sectionals in Seattle, Wash., where she had a personal best in the 100m fly with 59.42. Academically, Joyce was in National Honor Society for three years and graduated first in her class. She chose Georgetown because of strong family ties and a love for Washington, D.C. and plans to major in Biology of Global Health.
