Emmabeth Jensen

    Assistant Coach / Aquatics Coordinator
Jensen joined the Hoya staff in July 2022, coming to the Hilltop after spending the past two seasons as a graduate assistant coach at Oklahoma Christian University. She will also serve as the aquatics coordinator for Campus Recreation along with her coaching responsibilities.

In her two years at OC, the New Zealand native helped lead the Eagles to two Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference championships, coaching multiple swimmers to individual conference wins, conference meet records, school records and pool records. In her final season at OC, the Eagles recorded a program-best season in which they broke 33 school records at the 2022 RMAC championship meet and had 27 medal-worthy performances, 10 of which were first place finishes.

Jensen assisted in the development of seven athletes who were the university’s first ever competitors at the NCAA Division II Championships, earning three total medals and one National Champion.

In addition to her responsibilities on pool deck, Jensen assisted in all aspects of team and travel logistics, learning under Olympic Gold Medalist and Head Coach Josh Davis.

Before arriving at OC, Jensen aided the coaching staff at the University of North Texas for the 2019-2020 season as volunteer assistant coach. Her duties ranged from assisting on pool deck, statistics and supporting international student-athlete recruits.

Jensen is a 2019 graduate from the University of North Texas where she was a top finisher for the Mean Green. During her senior year, she won the Conference USA Individual Championship in the 100 butterfly while serving as team captain. Jensen is a five-time school record holder and won UNT Athletics 2019 Best Individual Performance and Swim & Dive’s Most Valuable and Spirit Award recipient. 

In addition to her undergraduate degree in fashion design, Jensen earned a master’s degree in business administration with a focus in marketing at Oklahoma Christian University.
