Jacob Miner joined the swimming & diving coaching staff in August 2023 as an assistant coach after serving as a volunteer assistant coach in 2022-23.
During the 2022-23 campaign, Miner helped the men's team earn its second consecutive BIG EAST Championship.
While volunteering for the Blue & Gray, Miner coached the Metro Dive Club's national development program and the junior olympic team in 2022-23. During the 2021-22 season, Miner helped the State University of New York at Geneseo capture the SUNYAC Men's and Women's Conference Championship title as a volunteer assistant coach. In addition, Miner also spent time as a diving coach for Claremont Pomona Dive Club and Revolution Aquatics during 2020-21 and was an instructor at the Island Empire Gymnastics Academy from 2016-19.
Miner graduated in 2020 from the University of Redlands where he dove in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. At Redlands, he was a five-time All-SCIAC medalist, three-time All-Region, and holds the 3-meter record for the UoR. The California native also trained with All Valley Divers and CAL Dive Club.
