Sam Milligan joined the swimming & diving coaching staff in August 2023 as an assistant coach after serving as a volunteer assistant coach in 2022-23.

During the 2022-23 campaign, Milligan helped the men's team earn its second consecutive BIG EAST Championship. 

Prior to coaching, Milligan spent two years swimming for the University of New Hampshire before transferring to Georgetown for her junior and senior season. While at UNH, Milligan and her team won the 2018 American East Championship and she was named a 2019 American East Academic All-American.
