High School: At Beachwood High School and Hawken School, Laura was a four-time All-Ohio State swimmer in the 500m free, 200m free, 200m IM and 100m breaststroke. She earned All-America honors her freshman year at the Hawken School in the 400m free relay. She graduated with honors from Beachwood High School where she holds school records in the 50m, 100m, 200m, and 500m freestyle, and three relays. Laura was captain for two years and was awarded MVP honors for three years. She swims for the Lake Erie Silver Dolphins and also played lacrosse for Beachwood High School, where she lettered three for years. Laura will help to replace graduating senior Mallory Kiplinger and Megan Harvey in the freestyle events. She chose Georgetown because a top nursing program, the great swimming program, the great people, and the fun-living environment in D.C.
