Prior to Georgetown: Member of the Campolindo High School swimming & diving team, serving as a team captain his senior year ... Helped lead Campolindo to a North Coast Sectional Championship as a junior ... Qualified for the North Coast sectional championships all four years and for the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) state championships as a junior ... Named an All-American as a junior in 2017 ... Won the 2017 Diablo Athletic League 500-yard freestyle championship ... Also played water polo, serving as a team captain and earning all-league first team (2016-17) and All-American (2016) honors ... Swam for Orinda Aquatics, owning the program record in the 1,000-yard freestyle ... In the classroom, was a USA Water Polo Academic All-American and a four-time North Coast Section Scholar-Athlete.
