Carolyn Glandorf

Carolyn Glandorf was named the interim head coach of the Georgetown University women's rowing team in March of 2018. She came to the Hilltop in 2015 as the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator, working with both the team's walk-ons and varsity boats.

In 2017, Glandorf coached the Varsity 4+ to a second place finish at Patriot League Championship. The Hoyas finished third overall, their highest yet, and the silver was the team's first Championship medal. In 2016, Glandorf coached the second varsity 8+ to a fourth-place finish

Prior to Georgetown, Glandorf was an assistant coach at Boston College. She coached the third varsity 8+ to a nearly undefeated season, losing only at the Eastern Sprints and the ACC Championships. At the Eastern Sprints, BC was the only team with two boats in the Grand Final as the third varsity 8+ placed third. At the ACC Championships, the third varsity 8+ placed sixth, helping BC to a sixth-place finish, one of the highest in team history.

Before Boston College, Glandorf was the head coach of the Boston Latin Girl's Crew team. Under her, the team qualified lightweight 4+ and varsity 8+ boats for Scholastic Nationals where the lightweight 4+ took gold. She also coached at Wayland-Weston and Community Rowing Inc.

Glandorf is a graduate of the University of Virginia where she rowed from 2008-12. She was a member of both the 2010 and 2012 NCAA National Rowing Championship teams. At the NCAA Championships, Glandorf raced in the second varsity 8+ in 2011, which placed fifth, and the varsity 4+ in 2012, which placed second. She graduated from UVA in 2012 with a bachelor of arts in history and psychology.
