Biography

Horne rowed in high school for Maritime Rowing Club for four years. Her team placed second in Junior Women[apos]s 8 at Head of the Charles in 2006. Her team placed first in Junior Women[apos]s 8 at San Diego Crew Classic in 2007 as well as in Women[apos]s 8 at Newport Autumn rowing Festival in 2006. She was a National Honor Society Member in high school. Melissa is the daughter of Tina and Fred Horne. She attended Norwalk High School.
