Courtney Dolehide

Dolehide served as an assistant coach for both squads in her first year at Georgetown before being promoted to head coach on July 2, 2018. 

In her first season with complete control over the men’s and women’s team, she led the men to a 6-11 record and a BIG EAST Quarterfinals finish. Off the court, 11 out of 12 of her student-athletes on the men's side were selected to to the BIG EAST All-Academic team. Dolehide led the 4-16 women's team to a BIG EAST Quarterfinals finish after sweeping Butler 4-0 in BIG EAST First Rounds. The Hoyas run ended after falling to No. 1 seed Xavier in the Quarterfinals. On the women's team side, all eight student-athletes were named to the BIG EAST All-Academic team under Dolehide’s watch. 

Dolehide was selected as one of the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Summer Collegiate Coaches for the 2019 season, where she worked with some of the USTA's top female collegiate players and assisted the young women at 25k pro events.

Taking on significant responsibility in her first year as an assistant on the Hilltop, Dolehide helped both programs to late season success. The men's squad advanced to the BIG EAST Championship semifinal narrowly losing to DePaul. The Hoyas entered the tournament on a five-match win streak. The women improved throughout the year with big wins down the stretch and advancing to the BIG EAST Championship quarterfinals.

Dolehide came to the Hilltop from the University of Texas where she was the assistant coach for three seasons.  With the Longhorns, Dolehide assisted in coaching Texas to the round of 16 at the 2016 NCAA Championships marking the first time since 2012.  The squad also advanced to the second round of the 2017 NCAA Championships. Texas ended the 2017 season with three student-athletes ranked among the top-80 in the final ITA singles rankings.

Dolehide got her start in coaching at Utah State University, where she served as a volunteer assistant women's tennis coach and head of men's and women's tennis operations in the fall of 2014 for the Aggies.

As a player, Dolehide was the team captain in 2014 when UCLA won the NCAA team title. She helped lead the Bruins to the NCAA semifinals or better in each of her four seasons. The Hinsdale, Illinois native earned ITA All-America honors in doubles during the 2012 season. Dolehide's highest national ranking in singles was No. 37 and No. 7 in doubles. She was a member of the Pac-12 Conference All-Academic Team and the UCLA National Academic Honor Society, Dolehide earned her bachelor's degree in political science in the spring of 2014.

An accomplished junior tennis standout, Dolehide competed in the main doubles draw at the 2009 US Open prior to her enrollment at UCLA.

Along with coaching, Dolehide is in the midst of the MBA program in the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown.
