Biography

2017-18: In her junior season, Goodson finished with an overall record of 8-12 in singles play and 5-11 in doubles matches … Won two of her three matches at the Bedford Cup Mid-Atlantic with a commanding 6-1, 6-1 result against Virginia Tech … Came out strong in the spring, winning five-straight singles matches, all in straight sets … Finished with a conference record of 2-1 with wins against Butler and St. John’s … In doubles play, Goodson and teammate Sara Swift finished with a record of 4-7, with a conference win against Butler … ITA All-Academic team … BIG EAST All-Academic selection.

2016-17: As a sophomore, Goodson went 11-14 overall in singles matches and 12-8 in doubles play ... Won three of her first four matches of the fall, including victories over Arielle Shuren of Delaware and Ariel Haber of Rhode Island ... Won two-consecutive doubles matches in September against opponents from Colorado State and New Mexico alongside Risa Nakagawa ... Opened the spring season with both a singles and doubles victory over Drexel ... Continued that success with a close 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 win over Mia Gancayco of Williams and a comeback 2-6, 6-2, 6-0 triumph against Renat van Oorschodt of Towson ... Won five of her last six doubles matches, including a 7-6 tiebreak victory with Nakagawa over George Mason's Sydney Green and Rachel Lee.

2015-16: The freshman went 14-4 in singles play and 10-9 in doubles play ... Goodson won in her debut match with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Laura Dimante of UDC ... Posted a seven-match win streak stretching from March 8 to April 29, took down opponents from Loyola Marymount, George Mason, Seton Hall, George Washington, Richmond, Villanova and Marquette ... Had a five-match winning streak from September 25 to February 20 that included wins over opponents from Colorado State, Georgetown, UPenn, Chicago and DePaul ... Highlights from spring doubles play included two three-match win streaks, the first ran from February 2-20 with partner Casey Marx and included wins over Towson, Chicago and DePaul, the second streak ran from April 15-29 with partner Sara Swift and included wins over Richmond, Villanova and Marquette ... Also posted a two-game win streak with partner Lily Lynham with victories over Scarlett Walston and Esu Erdentbatt of George Mason, 6-1, and Alex Brinker and Cristina Di Lorenzo of Xavier, 6-1 ... BIG EAST All-Academic selection ... ITA All-Academic.
