Andreya Thibault came to the Hilltop in 2016 and was promoted to associate athletics director for student-athlete health and wellness in 2023.  In her time at Georgetown, she has served as the primary athletic trainer for the preventative care, treatment and rehabilitation of the student-athletes for women's basketball, women's soccer, sailing, softball and football.  

In her administrative role, Thibault will oversee all sports medicine operations at Georgetown.

Thibault graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training.  She received her master’s degree in sports management from George Washington University in 2016.
 
While in school, Thibault was a graduate assistant at GW working primarily with the women’s lacrosse team as well as covering women’s soccer, volleyball and tennis events.  She also spent time with the WNBA’s Washington Mystics as an athletic training intern.
 
Thibault was a contributing author in Current Sports Medicine Reports helping with an article titled “Basketball Injuries: Caring for a Basketball Team”.  She is also a certified athletic trainer as well as a member of the National Athletic Training Association, and the District of Columbia Athletic Trainers’ Association.   
 
Thibault currently resides in Virginia with her husband Eric and their son Dean.
