Connor Sapin joined the Georgetown University Athletics communications staff st the start of the 2026-27 athletics season, returning to the Hilltop after previously working with the department as a communications intern.
Before returning to Georgetown, Sapin served as an athletic communications graduate assistant at St. John’s University, where he was the primary contact for men’s lacrosse and men’s and women’s tennis. He also facilitated media credentialing for athletic events at both St. John’s Queens campus and Madison Square Garden and managed social media accounts for the department.
Prior to his time at St. John’s, Sapin worked with the BIG EAST as a communications intern, assisting with media credentialing and conference press conference operations.
Sapin previously worked with Georgetown Athletics from 2019-23, assisting with media relations for men’s and women’s basketball and conducting research for statistics used in social media projects and team media guides.
A native of Bethesda, Md. Sapin earned his bachelor’s degree in Sports Marketing and Management from Indiana University in 2025.
At Georgetown, Sapin serves as the primary media contact for women’s soccer, women’s rowing and baseball.
