Dr. Park joined Georgetown Athletics in Fall 2024. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he completed his undergraduate studies at Temple University, master’s degrees at Korea University and the University of Pennsylvania, and then went on to complete his doctoral degree in clinical psychology at the Institute for the Psychological Sciences at Divine Mercy University. Dr. Park completed his internship at the University of Kansas Counseling and Psychological Services.
His areas of interest include athletic performance, identity formation, multiculturalism, and religion/spirituality.
Dr. Park believes therapy is a collaborative process that relies on a supportive therapeutic relationship to meet the client’s unique, individual needs in supporting them on their road to flourishing. In his free time, Dr. Park enjoys rock climbing, running, and playing tennis.
