Dr. Ryan Murray is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Georgetown University School of Medicine, Chief of Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and a Team Physician for Georgetown University. He completed his undergraduate studies at Boston College and obtained his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He then completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, followed by two fellowships, the first in sports medicine at the University of Pittsburgh followed by a second in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. His practice is focused on sports related injuries in patients of all ages with a special interest in ACL reconstruction, patellar instability, rotator cuff tears and shoulder instability. He is also involved with the orthopaedic surgery residency program at MedStar Georgetown serving as the Director of Research and a member of the operations committee.
