WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Senior defensive back Ryan O'Donoghue (Bay Village, Ohio/Bay) was named to the Division I-AA Athletics Directors Association Academic All-Star Team which was announced recently by the Division I-AA Athletics Directors Association.

O'Donoghue is a finance and technology management major with a 3.634 GPA. He was a First Team GTE Academic All-District II selection the last two seasons. O'Donoghue led the Hoyas with 89 tackles including 56 solo stops. Seven of his tackles were for losses. He also broke up three passes this season and forced a fumble. As a junior, O'Donoghue was named to the All-MAAC Football Second Team after finishing second on the team with 74 tackles, grabbing two interceptions and recovering two fumbles.
