WASHINGTON – Georgetown University football team captain
Jimmy Kibble has been named to the 2025 FCS ADA Academic All-Star Team. The senior wide receiver is the first Hoyas to be named to the team since linebacker Justin Fonteneaux earned the honor in 2022.
The Patriot League led the way with 10 student-athletes placed on the 2025 All-Star Team. Football players from all Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) institutions are eligible for the award. Each of the nominees were required to have a minimum grade point average of 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale) in undergraduate or graduate study and have been a starter or key player with legitimate athletics credentials. They must have reached their second year of athletics and academic standing at the nominated institution and have completed a minimum of one full academic year at the nominated institution. They also must have participated in 50 percent of the games played at their designated
position.

- The senior was named team captain of the Hoyas.
- Kibble was selected to the 2025 Patriot League All-Conference First Team.
- Kibble started in all 12 games for GU.
- He led the Hoyas and was second in the Patriot League with 63 receptions for 1002 yards and four touchdowns.
- For the first time in his career, Kibble recorded 1000 receiving yards. He finishes his GU career fourth in program history with 2593 career receiving yards.
- Kibble's longest reception was a 49-yard Hail Mary pass that won the game against Morgan State.
- He recorded a season high of 141 receiving yards against Colgate.
- Kibble was named a 2025 William V. Campbell Trophy Semifinalist.
- The senior was named to the 2025 Patriot League Academic All-League Team.
- At the beginning of the season, he was named to the 2025 Patriot League Preseason All-League Team.
