Georgetown travels to North Carolina for its third road game of the 2002 season this Saturday, October 12 at 1 p.m.. The Hoyas enter the game with a 1-4 overall record and a 0-3 mark in Patriot League play and will face the Davidson Wildcats. Davidson owns a 3-2 overall record. The Wildcats lost their Homecoming game last week to Morehead State 39-7.

Saturday will mark the fourth meeting all time between the two institutions. Two of the three prior contests have been decided by two points or less. In 1999 Davidson pulled out a 28-27 victory and then posted a 41-17 win in 2000. Last season Georgetown squeaked out a 26-24 victory by intercepting Davidson?s two-point conversion try to tie the game.
