Football Travels to Lafayette on Saturday

Saturday's Game
Georgetown makes its first trip ever to Easton, Pa. for Saturday?s game. The Hoyas enter the contest with a 2-4 overall record and a 0-3 mark in Patriot League play. The Hoyas started a one-game winning streak last week with a 25-21 comeback victory. Lafayette owns a 3-3 overall record and a 1-0 record in the Patriot League. The Leopards defeated Columbia last weekend 28-21.

The Series
Saturday's game will mark the sixth meeting all time between the two institutions. The last contest between the two schools was in 2001 when Lafayette defeated the Hoyas 37-17 in Washington, D.C. Prior to that match up GU and Lafayette had not faced each other since 1937. The series dates back to 1902 and Lafayette owns a 3-2 overall lead.
