Georgetown football comes home this Saturday against Bucknell at 1 p.m. after spending two consecutive weeks on the road. GU etched a 1-1 record the last two weeks. The Hoyas enter Saturday's game with a 2-5 overall record and a 0-4 mark in Patriot League play. Last week GU lost in Easton, Pa., 35-17, which marked the Hoyas? 10th straight loss in Patriot League play. Bucknell owns a 2-4 overall record and a 0-2 record in the Patriot League. The Bison lost a close contest last weekend at Towson, 20-14.
The Series
Today?s game will mark the 14th meeting all time between the two institutions. In last season?s matchup Bucknell shutout GU 34-0. The only other game between the two schools since 1937 came in 2000 when Bucknell won 24-10. The last Hoya victory over the Bison came in 1937 when GU triumphed 13-7. The series dates back to 1904 and Bucknell owns a 7-6-1 overall lead.
