Football Heads to Colgate for Patriot League Contest

Saturday's Game
Georgetown plays Colgate for the first time ever this Saturday at 12:30 p.m. in Hamilton, N.Y. The Hoyas enter the game with a 4-5 overall record and a 1-4 mark in Patriot League play. GU has won three of its past four contests including a 32-31 comeback victory over Bucknell and a 24-17 win over Marist. Colgate is 7-3 overall and is 4-1 in the Patriot League. The Raiders have won four straight contests including three League matchups. Last Saturday Colgate defeated Lehigh 28-14 in Bethlehem, Pa.

The Series
Today?s game is the first meeting all-time between the two institutions. Even though Georgetown was in the Patriot League last season the two schools were unable to set a game date due to scheduling conflicts.
