Today's Game
Georgetown plays its final game of the 2002 season against Towson this Saturday, November 23 at 12:30 p.m. The Hoyas enter the game with a 4-6 overall record and a 1-5 mark in Patriot League play. GU has won three of its past five contests including a 32-31 comeback victory over Bucknell and a 24-17 win over Marist. Last week the Hoyas lost in the snow and mud at Colgate 44-22. Towson is 6-4 overall and is 3-3 in the Patriot League. The Tigers lost last Saturday at Fordham 42-14.
The Series
Today?s game is the third meeting all-time between the two institutions. Towson won both of the previous meetings. Last season the Tigers came to D.C. and defeated the Hoyas 27-9. Prior to the 2001 season Towson and Georgetown had not faced each other for over 25 years. In 1973 Towson defeated the Hoyas 17-7.
