(Sept. 21) The Georgetown University men's cross country team is ranked 12th in this week's MONDO rankings. The Hoyas have not participated since September 10th at the Great Meadows Invitational when they earned a first place by claiming five of the top six slots at the meet and seven of the first ten places.
GU won the race easily over five other opponents, including American Univ, Yale and Maryland.
Georgetown junior Brian Dalpiaz, sophomore Matt Debole and senior Charlie Millioen and American's Conor Lanz all crossed the finish line in 20:56. Dalpiaz was awarded first place, DeBole second, Millioen third and Lanz fourth. GU's Andre LaBoyand Daniel Nunn finished six-seven with times of 21:02.and 21:05. Chris Esselborn (9th; 21:16) and Rasheed Thompson (10th; 21:20) rounded out the top ten.
As a team, the Hoyas paced the field with an average time of just under 21 minutes per runner.
