WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University football team (3-7, 0-5 Patriot League) closes out the regular season on Saturday when it travels to Hamilton, N.Y., for a matchup with Colgate University. Kickoff at Andy Kerr Stadium is scheduled for 1 p.m.

Last Time Out
Last week, the Hoyas fell in its final home game of the season, 21-7. Clay Norris (Charlotte, N.C./Myers Park) started at quarterback and was 17-of-34 for 157 yards passing with a touchdown. Alex Valles (Danvers, Mass./Danvers) finished with 40 yards rushing while Justin Hill (Pittsburgh, Pa./Montour) had a team-high seven catches for 57 yards. Jim McLaughlin (Fairfax, Va./WT Woodson) had career highs of six receptions and 77 receiving yards and a touchdown.

J'V'on Butler (Melbourne, Fla./Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy) led the defense with a game-high 11 tackles, including eight solo takedowns, and also forced a fumble. David Akere (Carrollton, Texas/Hebron) and Hunter Kiselick (Nutley, N.J./Bergen Catholic) each finished with seven tackles, while Kiselick also added three quarterback hurries.

On Monday, Butler earned a Patriot League Honorable Mention selection recognizing his efforts against the Bison. Butler tied a career high with 11 tackles, the fourth time this season he has reached the mark. He also forced a fumble that was recovered by the Hoyas in the fourth quarter. Butler and the Hoya defense held Bucknell to just 109 yards passing and under 300 yards of total offense.

FCS Leaders
Georgetown's defensive and special teams units rank among the nation's best in several statistical categories. On special teams, the Hoyas rank first in the country with four blocked punts and are second with seven blocked kicks overall. The Hoya defense ranks third in the FCS in red zone defense, holding the opposition out of the end zone 35 percent of the time.

Fifth-year senior Hunter Kiselick and freshman Khristian Tate (Warner Robins, Ga./Covenant Academy) are tied for the national lead with three blocked kicks apiece. Kiselick has blocked three field goals, while Tate has three of Georgetown's four blocked punts.

Scouting Colgate
Colgate enters Saturday's game with a 4-5 overall record and a 3-2 mark in Patriot League play. The Raiders' offense are averaging 30.3 points per game and 402 total yards per game, while the defense is giving up 24.9 points per game and 366 yards per game.

Jake Melville is a dual threat at quarterback, leading the Colgate offense with 1,783 passing yards and 759 yards rushing, while accounting for 21 total touchdowns. John Maddaluna leads the Raiders with 795 receiving yards, averaging 88.3 yards per game. Defensively, Kyle Diener leads the team with 70 total tackles while Pat Afriyie is second in the Patriot League with nine sacks.

About the Matchup
Georgetown is 1-12 all-time against Colgate, with all of those meetings coming since 2002. The Raiders have taken each of the past four meetings, including a tight 17-13 decision last season at Cooper Field. In that game, Georgetown trailed, 17-0, entering the fourth quarter, but rallied to cut the deficit to three. Despite a pair of 37-yard field goals by Henry Darmstadter (Alexandria, Va./George Mason) and a 10-yard touchdown rush by Kyle Nolan, GU's comeback fell short as Colgate ran out the final four and a half minutes off the clock.
