Kiselick Named Patriot League Honorable Mention

Nov. 21, 2016

WASHINGTON - Senior defensive lineman Hunter Kiselick (Nutley, N.J./Bergen Catholic) of the Georgetown University football team has been named a Patriot League Honorable Mention selection, as announced by the conference on Monday. The award recognizes Kiselick's efforts in Georgetown's season finale at Colgate on Saturday.

In his final collegiate game, Kiselick recorded a career-high 15 tackles, with two solo takedowns. The 15 tackles were a season high for the Hoyas. Kiselick also recorded his FCS-leading fourth field goal block of the season, swatting a 40-yard attempt in the fourth quarter. Georgetown is tied for the national lead with eight blocked kicks this season.

This is Kiselick's second recognition by the Patriot League this season as he was named the Special Teams Player of the Week back on September 5 after blocking two field goals at Marist. Overall, this is GU's 12th honorable mention selection this season.

The Hoyas wrapped up their 2016 season on Saturday with a 3-8 overall record.
