WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University football team remains on the road this weekend as it opens Patriot League play at Lehigh University on Saturday afternoon. Kickoff at Goodman Stadium is set for 12:30 p.m.

The game will be broadcast across several different outlets. All fans can view the contest online via the Patriot League Network, with Steve Degler, Mike Yadush and Al Di Carlo on the call. Saturday's contest will also be televised in the Lehigh Valley market on Service Electric 2 Sports. Fans in the Lehigh Valley can also listed to the game on ESPN Radio (1230/1320/1160 AM).

Last Time Out
Princeton scored 50 unanswered points, and a fourth quarter comeback came up short as Georgetown dropped its final nonconference game, 50-30, at Princeton's Powers Field. The Hoyas had three rushing touchdowns -- one each from Alex Valles (Danvers, Mass./Danvers), Michael Dereus (Hyde Park, Mass./Williston Northampton) and Gunther Johnson (Anthem, Ariz./Boulder Creek/Arizona) -- and Khristian Tate (Warner Robins, Ga./Covenant Academy) returned a fumble for a touchdown.

About the Matchup
Georgetown is 5-17 all-time against Lehigh. The Mountain Hawks have won each of the past 16 meetings since the Hoyas joined the Patriot League in 2001. Prior to being conference opponents, Georgetown and Lehigh had not met since 1925 which was GU's last victory in the series, 40-0.

After three-straight matchups against Ivy League opponents, Saturday will be Georgetown's first Patriot League contest of the season. In the past five years, the Hoyas are 9-25 in league play.

Scouting Lehigh
The Mountain Hawks enter Saturday's game with a 1-5 overall record, but won their Patriot League opener last weekend, 41-38, at Colgate after an 0-5 start in nonconference play. The Lehigh offense, which is average 467.8 yards of total offense and 33 points per game, surpassed 200 yards rushing and 200 yards passing in last weekend's win. Brad Mayes averages 348.5 yards of passing per game and has thrown for 16 touchdowns this season. Dominic Bragalone leads a potent rushing attack with 104.6 yards per game and has six touchdowns. Receivers Troy Pelletier and Gatlin Casey have combined for 11 touchdown receptions and are both averaging more than 15 yards per catch.

Lehigh's defense is allowing nearly 47 points per game and 533.7 yards of total offense. Teams have scored at least 37 points in all six games against the Mountain Hawks. Keith Woetzel leads the defense with 48 tackles and 5.5 tackles-for-loss, while Tyler Cavenas has 2.5 of Lehigh's 3.0 sacks on the season.

Looking Ahead
The Hoyas will return home to Cooper Field to host Fordham University over Georgetown's Family Weekend. Kickoff on Saturday, Oct. 21 is scheduled for 2 p.m.
