Hoyas Wrap Up ODU/OBX Intercollegiate Tied for Sixth

WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's men's golf team finished with a three-round score of 875 to tie for sixth overall at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate, hosted by Old Dominion, in Powells Point, North Carolina. The Hoyas carded rounds of 295, 289 and 291 at the par-71 Kilmarlic Golf Course to close out their fall schedule.

Hardin Councill (High Point, N.C. / Westchester Country Day) paced the Hoyas with a 54-hole score of 214 (71-72-71) to finish 1 over and tie for 12th place overall. He was followed by Eduardo Blochtein (Delray Beach, Fla. / Spanish River) who posted another top-20 finish with a 3-over-par 216 (72-71-73) to tie for 20th.

Patrick DiPasquale (Rochester, N.Y. / McQuaid Jesuit) finished tied for 32nd at 220 (75-72-73), Will O'Neill (Morristown, N.J. / Morristown) shot 225 (77-74-74) to tie for 49th and Will Rand (New York, N.Y. / Blair Academy [N.J.]) carded a 234 (78-76-80) to tie for 77th overall.

Campbell (818) won the tournament at 34 under followed by UNC-Wilmington (837) at 15 under. Drexel (864), the host Monarchs (865) and Winthrop (872) rounded out the top five in front of Georgetown (875) and Delaware (875) tied for sixth. Nebraska-Omaha (881) and North Dakota State (881) tied for eighth, followed by Drake (882), George Mason (883), Saint Joseph's (885) and Akron (886). Rounding out the competition was Longwood (897), Towson (904), Hartford (920), Manhattan (932) and St. Francis (Pa.) (933).
