Georgetown University's men's golf team finished the opening day of the Wildcat Fall Invitational in third place with a team score of 290 on Friday in Malvern, Pennsylvania. Freshman Will O'Neill
(Morristown, N.J. / Morristown) paced the Hoyas with an even-par 71 on the day to sit tied for third. Senior captain Anthony Perrino
(Concord, N.C. / The Canon School), playing as an individual, matched O'Neill's 71 as well.
(Rochester, N.Y. / McQuaid Jesuit) carded a 72 to tie for eighth, Eduardo Blochtein
(Delray Beach, Fla. / Spanish River) shot a 73 to tie for 13th and Will Rand
(New York, N.Y. / Blair Academy [N.J.]) posted a 74 to tie for 18th. Hardin Councill
(High Point, N.C. / Westchester Country Day) rounded out Georgetown's participation with a 76 to tie for 25th.
Appalachian State leads the field with a 285, followed by Delaware (289) and Georgetown (290). St. John's is fourth with 292, followed by Seton Hall (296), VCU (299) and host Villanova (305).
