Gunther Johnson and junior defensive back
Ahmad Wilson were both honored for their performances in GU's 14-10 victory over Lafayette on Saturday.
GUNTHER JOHNSON
- Johnson completed a season-high 21 passes for 160 yards and two touchdowns while also leading all Georgetown rushers with 35 yards.
- He had an 8-yard touchdown pass to Michael Dereus for the game's first score in the first quarter.
- After Lafayette took a 10-7 lead, Johnson orchestrated a 16-play drive for the go-ahead score, a 1-yard touchdown pass, with just six seconds left before halftime.
- Johnson completed eight passes and rushed for 19 yards on the game-winning drive.
- He also had a 21-yard run on fourth-and-19 to help set up the first score.
AHMAD WILSON
- Wilson was among the defensive leaders with five total tackles as 11 different Hoyas registered at least three tackles.
- All three of his solo tackles came in the fourth quarter as the GU defense stopped three Lafayette drives while protecting a 14-10 lead.
- Wilson recorded his first interception of the season near the end of the third quarter as Lafayette was approaching the red zone in a one-score game.

The Blue & Gray will head back out on the road to take on Lehigh on Saturday, Oct. 26. Kickoff is scheduled for noon. The Hoyas will return to Cooper Field on Nov. 2 for their Senior Day game against Bucknell.
