WASHINGTON – Georgetown University men's basketball center
Omer Yurtseven was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the second week in a row on Monday following a 1-1 week for the Blue & Gray.
Yurtseven posted a pair of double-doubles in as many games to open the season with four in a row. He averaged 15.5 points and 11.5 rebounds. The senior shot 44.4 percent from the floor and 77.8 percent from the foul line for the week.
This is Yurtseven's second nod to the honor roll and the second of the season for the Blue & Gray.

COMING UP NEXT
The Hoyas hit the road when they travel to Madison Square Garden for two neutral games as part of the 2K Empire Classic. The Blue & Gray will play No. 22/22 Texas on Thursday evening, with tipoff scheduled for 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2 and fans can listen locally on The Team 980 with Rich Chvotkin on the call.
