WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's basketball team continues its season-opening four-game homestand when it welcomes Central Arkansas to Capital One Arena on Saturday afternoon. Tipoff is scheduled for noon.

- Wednesday's game will be broadcast live on MASN2 locally and nationally on FOX Sports Networks.
- Scott Graham will be calling the play-by-play and Vin Parise providing analysis.

- The Hoyas (1-0) are coming off an 81-68 victory over Mount St. Mary's on Wednesday.
- The Blue & Gray overcame a 19-point second half deficit, closing the game on a 20-1 run.
- Omer Yurtseven tallied his first double-double in his Hoya debut with 20 points and 12 rebounds.
- James Akinjo also had a 20-point performance, including 17 in the second half, and finished with a team-high five assists.
- Mac McClung was the third Hoya in double figures with 16 points.
- As a team, Georgetown shot 47.5 (28-59) percent from the field, including a 65.5 (19-29) clip in the second half.
- The Blue & Gray outrebounded The Mount 40-26 and forced 15 turnovers on nine steals.
SCOUTING CENTRAL ARKANSAS
- Central Arkansas enters Saturday's matchup with a 1-1 record after opening the season with a 105-61 loss at No. 16 Baylor before defeating Division III Hendrix 71-51 on Thursday.
- Rylan Bergersen leads the Bears in scoring, averaging 13.5 ppg, while Eddy Kayouloud is contributing 12 ppg.
- Bergersen also leads Central Arkansas on the glass, pulling down 15 rebounds through the first two games.
- As a team, UCA is shooting just 38.7 (46-119) percent from the floor and 20.9 (9-43) from beyond the arc.
ABOUT THE MATCHUP
- Saturday will be the first ever meeting between Georgetown and Central Arkansas.
- Overall, the Hoyas are 3-0 against current members of the Southland Conference with the most recent matchup coming during the 2000-01 season, a 90-48 win over Nicholls State.
COMING UP NEXT
The Hoyas will host Penn State at Capital One Arena on Thursday, Nov. 14 as part of the 2019 Gavitt Tipoff Games, the annual early-season series between the BIG EAST and Big Ten Conferences.
