WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's men's golf team travels to Callawassie Island, South Carolina as it looks to win back-to-back titles at the BIG EAST Championship Presented by Jeep. The Hoyas previously won the 2016 and 2018 titles at the Callawassie Island Golf Club's Dogwood and Magnolia courses.
The three-day, 54-hole tournament will begin on Friday, April 26 and conclude on Sunday, April 28. Links to live results will be available on

Eduardo Blochtein (Delray Beach, Fla. / Spanish River) paces the Hoyas with a 72.73 stroke average and has posted three top-10 finishes this season. He was recently named All-BIG EAST First Team.
Hardin Councill (High Point, N.C. / Westchester Country Day) is hot on his trail is with a 73.88 stroke average while finishing as Georgetown's top finisher in the final two tournaments of the season.
Patrick DiPasquale (Rochester, N.Y. / McQuaid Jesuit) and
Will O'Neill (Morristown, N.J. / Morristown) both have sub-75 averages as well at 74.35 and 74.54, respectively.
As a team, Georgetown has posted a pair of top-five finishes in nine tournaments this season. The Hoyas were third at the 34th Georgetown Intercollegiate and at the Wildcat Invitational. In addition, the Blue & Gray was also sixth at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate and the Princeton Invitational.
The Hoyas won the 2018 BIG EAST Championship with a three-stroke victory over Marquette, Georgetown's second league title in three years and the fourth in program history. Blochtein was named to the All-Tournament Team in 2018 after posting a fifth-place finish. Georgetown also won in 2016, 2010 and 1998.
