  • Brunell passed to Edwards for a 5-yard touchdown before connecting with Tomas for a 40-yard score on back-to-back possessions to start the second quarter.
  • Moultrie followed with a 3-yard touchdown run, before Johnson hit Edwards on a deep 76-yard pass for his second touchdown reception of the quarter.

OF NOTE
  • Zaire Webb blocked a punt on the first possession of the game. GU's first punt block since Roemello Walton in 2017 at Holy Cross.
  • The 69 points are the most since Georgetown became a Division I program and the most in a game since 1971, when the Hoyas also scored 69 points against Catholic.
  • GU's 567 total yards are the program's most in a game since 1996 when the Blue & Gray registered 568 against Fairfield.
  • The 353 rushing yards are the most in a game by a Georgetown team since rushing for 353 against Iona in 2000.
  • Tomas' punt return for a touchdown was GU's first since Kevin Macari in 2012 against Yale. The 66 yards was the fifth-longest return in program history.
  • The shutout was Georgetown's first since blanking Stony Brook in 2006.
