WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's basketball team will wrap up a two-game road swing when it travels to Seton Hall for a BIG EAST matchup on Friday night. Tipoff is scheduled for 9 p.m. at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The Blue & Gray come in at 10-4 overall on the year and 0-1 in the BIG EAST.

LAST TIME OUT
- Georgetown saw its six-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday evening in its BIG EAST opener at Providence. Despite outscoring the Friars 37-22 in the second half, the Hoyas dropped a 76-60 decision at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.
- Omer Yurtseven recorded his seventh double-double of the season with team highs of 14 points and 10 rebounds.
- Jahvon Blair and Terrell Allen each had 10 points, including a trio of 3-pointers by Blair.
- Jagan Mosely and Jamorko Pickett each contributed nine points, while Mosely and Allen led the team with four assists apiece.
ABOUT THE HOYAS
- The Hoyas lead the BIG EAST in scoring with 80.3 ppg as well as free throw percentage, making 76.8 (239-311) percent of their shots from the charity stripe
- Yurtseven is the only player in the BIG EAST to have scored in double figures in every one of his team's games. He leads the Hoyas with 17.9 ppg and 10.1 rpg, while Mac McClung is second in scoring with 15.5 ppg
- Blair is among Georgetown's career top 25 in 3-pointers made as his 105 career treys is 20th all-time. Mosely has 278 career assists, which is 23rd on GU's career list.
SCOUTING SETON HALL
- Seton Hall comes in on a three-game winning streak and a 9-4 overall record with a 1-0 mark in BIG EAST play after defeating DePaul 74-66 on the road on Monday night.
- The Pirates are averaging 74.7 ppg, while allowing opponents to score 64.4. They lead the BIG EAST with 6.1 bpg.
- Myles Powell leads Seton Hall and is second in the conference with 21.7 ppg. Quincy McKnight and Sandro Mamukelashvili are also in double figures at 10.9 ppg.
- McKnight has a team-high 54 assists while Jared Rhoden leads the team with 6.1 rpg.
ABOUT THE MATCHUP
- Friday will be the 109th all-time meeting between the longtime BIG EAST rivals with the Hoyas holding a 59-49 series advantage. Georgetown and Pirates have split the regular season series each of the past two years with both team winning on their own home court. Seton Hall defeated GU in the BIG EAST Quarterfinals last March.
- The Hoyas won a 77-71 double overtime thriller at Capital One Arena last season. Jessie Govan led GU with a double-double (21P/12R) in 42 minutes.
- Head Coach Patrick Ewing is 2-3 against Seton Hall as GU's head coach and went a perfect 8-0 against the Pirates as a player.
