WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's basketball team travels to St. John's for a BIG EAST Conference matchup on Sunday afternoon. Tipoff at Madison Square Garden is scheduled for 1 p.m. The Blue & Gray comes in at 12-9 overall on the year and 2-6 in the BIG EAST.

- Sunday's game will be broadcast on CBS with Ian Eagle calling the play-by-play, Bill Raftery providing analysis and Jon Rothstein reporting from the sideline.

LAST TIME OUT
- Despite tying the game late, Georgetown could not hold on and fell 69-64 to No. 16/17 Butler on Tuesday at Capital One Arena.
- Omer Yurtseven led a quartet of Hoyas in double figures with 14 points and a game-best 13 rebounds for his 11th double-double of the season. He added a pair of steals and one assist to the effort.
- Mac McClung added 12 points to go along with three rebounds and a pair each of assists and steals.
- Jagan Mosely finished with 11 points and seven rebounds, tying a career high, while being on the court for all but 32 seconds.
- Qudus Wahab chipped in 10 points and five rebounds off the bench.
- Terrell Allen had nine points and added a game-high seven assists to go along with a pair of steals.
- The Hoyas outrebounded Butler 38-36 and forced 15 turnovers while committing just eight.
ABOUT THE HOYAS
- McClung leads the Blue & Gray in scoring at 16.4 ppg. Yurtseven is second on the team with 16.3 ppg and leads the squad with 9.7 rpg and 11 double-doubles.
- The Hoyas lead the BIG EAST with 15.6 assists per game and have two players among the top 10 in the category - Terrell Allen (4.0, 7th) and Mosely (3.4, 10th).
- Jahvon Blair is among Georgetown's career top 25 in 3-pointers as his 114 career treys is 20th all-time. Mosely has 306 career assists, which is 19th on GU's career list and just one away from tying Allen Iverson (307).
SCOUTING ST. JOHN'S
- St. John's enters Sunday with a 13-9 record and a 2-7 mark in BIG EAST play. SJU has lost four of the past five games, including a 79-59 setback to Villanova on Tuesday.
- The Red Storm average 74.8 ppg while allowing opponents to score 69.5 ppg. They lead the BIG EAST in steals (10.5 spg) and are second in rebounding (40.0 rpg).
- L.J. Figueroa leads St. John's in scoring at 15.1 ppg while Mustapha Heron (13.7 ppg) and Rasheem Dunn (12.6 ppg) are both in double figures.
- Josh Roberts (6.2 rpg) and Julian Champagnie (6.0 rpg) lead the Red Storm in rebounding.
ABOUT THE MATCHUP
- Sunday will be the 115th all-time meeting between the longtime BIG EAST rivals with the Red Storm holding a 59-55 series advantage.
- GU defeated St. John's 87-66 on Jan. 8 in Washington, D.C. Mac McClung led five Hoyas in double figures with 24 points.
- Omer Yurtseven and Jamorko Pickett both had double-doubles as Pickett had 18 points and a career-high 11 rebounds.
