WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University baseball team will play three road games this weekend, playing at Richmond on Friday, VCU on Saturday and William & Mary on Sunday. The Hoyas enter the weekend with a 2-6 record over the season's first two weeks.

- Friday's game is set for a 1:30 p.m. first pitch. Saturday's contest will begin at 2 p.m. and Sunday will start at 1 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
- Georgetown is coming off a 7-4 win over Maryland Eastern Shore on Wednesday to snap a six-game losing streak.
- Freddy Achecar III had three hits and three RBIs, while John Simourian also had three hits. Eddie McCabe scored three runs.
- Jack Weeks retired the first 16 batters of the game as he pitched 7.0 near-perfect innings. Miller Freeman recorded his first career save.
ABOUT THE HOYAS
- AJ Lotsis leads the Hoya offense with 11 hits, a .314 batting average and three home runs. He is second on the team with eight RBIs, trailing only Achecar with nine.
- Simourian is batting an even .300 (6-20) while three Hoyas have a pair of doubles each.
- The pitching staff is led by Jack Weeks, who has not allowed an earned run in 13.0 innings pitched. Angelo Tonas and Carter Bosch lead GU with 11 and 10 strikeouts, respectively.

- Richmond comes in with a 2-6 record. The Spiders are batting .231 as a team, while the pitching staff has a 5.68 ERA.
- Daniel Little is batting .348 (8-23), and Jordan Schulefand is hitting .345 (10-29). Drew Blakely has a team-high nine RBIs.
- VCU enters the weekend at 5-3 on the year and the Rams are hitting .279 and own a 2.95 ERA.
- Hogan Brown is batting .448 (13-29) to lead the team, while Tyler Locklear and Josh Simon are batting .391 (9-23) and .389 (7-18). Brandon Henson has team highs of two home runs and seven RBIs.
- William & Mary is 3-5 on the season and will play Wagner and West Virginia earlier in the weekend.
- Matthew Trehub is batting .368 (7-19), while Brandon Raguet is hitting .367 (11-30) with three home runs, nine RBIs and 11 runs scored.
