Against UConn

How it Happened
	- Both teams' pitchers dominated in the circle from early on, allowing only three batters per inning to visit the plate until the bottom of the third.
- In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on first base for the Huskies, UConn opened up the scoring as Emily Sappington singled to right field and advanced the runner on base home off of an error. Sappington was able to reach third base but junior pitcher London Diller was able to end the inning with three-straight strikeouts.
- In the bottom of the fifth, UConn managed to score a pair of runs off of a two-run double to deep center field, leading GU 3-0.
- Georgetown got the bats going in the top of the sixth with back-to-back hits from Kiki Besnard and Noelle Holiday but the Hoyas were unable to score any runs off of it as they fell 3-0 to the Huskies.
Of Note
	- Diller started for the Blue & Gray in the circle and had a career-high eight strikeouts. The junior allowed two hits and two runs while walking three.
- Senior Katie Vannicola relieved Diller for the next 1.0 innings and allowed one run until senior Casey Kozak finished it off for GU with a pair of strikeouts and no hits against her.
- Besnard, Holiday and Lorena Vasquez-Inzunza each had a hit against UConn.
Against Delaware

How it Happened

- In the top of the fourth, Delaware extended its lead to 2-0 off of a triple from Halle Kisamore, scoring the runner on second. The next batter up, Brittney Mendoza, hit another triple and brought Kisamore home to make it 3-0. UD managed to score one more run in the fourth inning off of an error to score Mendoza.
