  • A putback from sophomore Graceann Bennett and a trey by freshman Teaghan Flaherty pulled GU within one 24-23. Late in the quarter St. John's managed to connect to go into the break leading 33-25.
  • Bolden-Morris had the hot hand off of the first two possession finding the bottom of the net from downtown sparking a 10-2 Blue & Gray run to pull GU within two at 37-35 and force a Red Storm timeout.
  • Despite the momentum, Georgetown was unable to pull ahead as St. John's held GU at bay with the Hoyas looking at a 51-39 deficit heading into the final period.
