WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's tennis team competed in the River City Tennis Open over the weekend and had mixed success in Richmond, Virginia. Four men's tennis players played in singles and doubles matches in the tournament.
The Results
Freshman
Jake Fellows was the only Hoya posting a winning record in singles matches on the weekend, posting a 2-1 record on the way to a second-place finish in his flight.
Charlie Suh,
Carlos Grande, and
Harry Yang all went 0-3 in their singles matches and finished last in their flights.
The Hoyas saw more success in the doubles matches at the River City Tennis Open. The Grande/Suh pairing teamed up to win two matches, only dropping one match on the weekend for a 2-1 record. Fellows/Yang went 2-0 in their matches to round out the weekend of competition for the Hoyas.

The Hoyas will return to action the weekend of October 14-17 to compete at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Regional Championship. The ITA tournament will be held in Annapolis, Maryland.
