WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball team fell 3-0 (25-8, 25-14, 25-20) on the road at Butler in BIG EAST action on Saturday night. The Hoyas fall to 5-14 overall and 1-7 in league play while the Bulldogs improve to 10-11 overall and 4-4 in the BIG EAST.
 
Hoya Highlights

• Mary Grace Goyena led the Hoyas with seven kills while Giselle Williams added five.
• Three different Hoyas manned setting duties in the match as Lilly Costigan and Ellie Watkins both had seven assists on the night.
• Defensively, Peyton Wilhite collected eight digs to anchor the back row while Jessica Cusi added seven.
• Goyena and Brennan Wilhite both had two blocks for the Blue & Gray.

 
Butler Notes

• Brittany Robinson led Butler with 10 kills while Mariah Grunze added nine.
• Jaymenson Kinsly led all players with 20 digs.
• Hogan Delaney had four blocks to pace XU.

The Hoyas remain on the road for a pair of BIG EAST matches at Creighton on Friday, October 22 and at Providence on Saturday, October 24.
