WASHINGTON – Junior Stefan Stojanovic was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week on Monday when the BIG EAST Conference announced its weekly awards. This is Stojanovic's first honor of the season for the 8-0 Hoyas who are currently ranked No. 1 in both of the national polls and 2-0 in BIG EAST play.

BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week

• Stojanovic scored the opening two goals in a 3-1 win for the top-ranked Hoyas on Saturday over DePaul.
• The win gives the Blue and Gray their eighth of the year as Georgetown remains unbeaten.
• Stojanovic's goals came back-to-back at 27:13 and 28:38 to give the Hoyas an early 2-0 lead.
• The junior had six shots in the game.
• Stojanovic leads the Hoyas in scoring with 10 points off five goals this season.
• This is his first-career BIG EAST weekly award and the fourth for the Hoyas this season.
