CHICAGO – The Hoyas started slow, but found their scoring touch in the second half as the Georgetown University men's basketball team defeated the DePaul University Blue Demons 68-60 on Saturday afternoon in a BIG EAST Conference matchup at Chicago's Wintrust Arena. With the victory, the Hoyas improve to 8-11 on the season and 6-8 in league play, while DePaul falls to 4-12 overall and 2-12 in conference action.
ON THE RECORD
"It shows a lot, guys were in foul trouble. Both bigs were in foul trouble. Malcom came in, I thought he did a solid job. I put Collin (Holloway) in there for a stretch; he got the job done when he was in there. T.J. (Berger) did a fantastic job then he was in there, and also Jamari (Sibley) did a good job. So, the guys––when they had their opportunities––I thought they took advantage of it, which is something they need to do, and they need to continue to do that going forward." - Head Coach
Patrick Ewing on Georgetown rotation during the game.
