INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA has announced the tip time, venue and broadcast information for the 12th-seeded Georgetown University men's basketball team's first round contest against the fifth-seeded University of Colorado on Saturday. The Hoyas and Buffaloes will meet in the first of the day and tipoff is set for 12:15 p.m. ET.
The game will be played at Butler's Hinkle Fieldhouse, which is one of the six venues in the Indianapolis area being used by the NCAA for first round games.
CBS will broadcast Saturday's game with Andrew Catalon calling the play-by-play with Steve Lappas serving as the analyst and AJ Ross reporting from the sidelines.
The Hoyas were selected as a #12 seed in the 2021 NCAA Tournament after earning the BIG EAST Conference's automatic bid by winning four games in four days to capture the 2021 BIG EAST Tournament Presented by Jeep. It is Georgetown's 31st appearance in the NCAA Tournament, and the program's first since 2015. The Hoyas are 48-29 all-time in the tournament, and 1-2 against opponents from the Pac-12 Conference.
