Football Falls to No. 20/RV Fordham on Saturday

BRONX, N.Y. - The Georgetown University football team dropped its Patriot League contest to No. 20/RV Fordham 59-38 on Saturday afternoon at Jack Coffey Field. The Hoyas fell to 1-4 overall and 0-2 in conference play while the Rams jumped to 4-1 with a 1-0 record in league action.

ON THE RECORD
"I'm really proud of the way our guys played against a great football team in Fordham. It was a different feeling coming off the field this week than we had against Monmouth and Columbia because we came out and executed the game plan really well at times. I think defensively, Ibri Harrell showed why I think he is one of the best players in the Patriot League and he's going to continue to get better. We aren't into moral victories but we did some really good things today that we will look to build upon heading into next week's homecoming game against Penn." - Head Coach Rob Sgarlata on today's contest against Fordham
