ABOUT THE HOYAS
  • Despite Georgetown's loss (1-4, 0-2 Patriot) to Fordham, Ibri Harrell and Joshua Tomas earned Patriot League Honorable Mentions.
  • Harrell returned from injury to pick up his first career weekly accolade against Fordham, putting forth a career day in the Bronx with a personal-best 12 tackles and 2.5 TFL of 17 yards. The sophomore defender also tied his career high with two sacks for a loss of 16.
  • Tomas finished Saturday with 129 yards on 10 receptions and two touchdowns, becoming the fifth player in Hoya history to reach the 2,000-yard mark for receiving and surpassed Rob Rosenthal for fourth all-time. His 129-yard performance also marked his third 100+ receiving yard game of the season and eighth of his career.
  • The Hoya wideout is also ranked among the top receivers in FCS with 8.2 receptions per game (5th), 469 receiving yards (7th) and 93.8 per game (8th).
  • Pierce Holley is tied with Fordham's Tim DeMorat for completions per game with 26.6, ranking first in the Patriot League and third in FCS.
  • Freshmen Wedner Cadet and Mateen Ibirogba are among the top newcomers in FCS. Cadet has logged two interceptions and is one of eight freshmen to have two or more through the first five weeks while Ibirogba has a pair of sacks and is one of 14 to register two or more.

ABOUT THE QUAKERS
  • The Quakers (3-0, 1-0 IVY) have held their opponents, Colgate, Lafayette and Dartmouth, to a combined 24 points in regulation.
  • In their last matchup against Dartmouth, Penn knocked off its Ivy League foe with a 23-17 double-overtime victory and earned votes in the American Football Coaches Association polls.
  • Penn is one of nine teams in FCS to head into Week 6 undefeated, recording its first 3-0 start since 2003 when the team went 10-0 en route to its 13th Ivy League title.

THE MATCHUP
  • The Hoyas and the Quakers will square off for just the seventh time since its first matchup nearly 130 years ago (1893).
  • Saturday's contest will fall a couple days short of 14 years since these two teams met on October 11, 2008.
  • Georgetown and Penn have played just twice since the start of the 21st century, exchanging home contests in 2007 and 2008.
