Justin Fonteneaux and offensive lineman
Mac Hollensteiner have been named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team.
The 16-member all-academic team was selected by a vote of the league's sports information directors who could not cast a vote for their own student-athletes. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.20 cumulative grade point average, must have at least sophomore standing at his institution and must have played in at least 50 percent of the team's games.
Justin Fonteneaux- LB
- The linebacker led the Hoyas with 90 tackles, 58 of which were on his own, as well as 27 assists in the 2022 campaign.
- The Houston native also added three sacks and two pass break ups.
- He earned a pair of Patriot League Honorable Mentions this season.
Mac Hollensteiner- OL
- The offensive lineman was named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in 2019 and 2021.
- Hollensteiner was named one of 156 William V. Campbell Trophy Semifinalists by the National Football Foundation.
- He appeared in all 11 games on the offensive line for the Hoyas.
